Meet the Team

Sahana is passionate about politics, youth empowerment, sustainable development, and climate action. Beyond PAFA, she is the Chair of Amnesty International Malaysia’s Youth Committee, an organizer of the 2021 Action for Climate Empowerment Youth Forum, and a recipient of the EARCOS Global Citizenship Award. Sahana has spoken at numerous events run by organizations like the United Nations and ARROW, and she has worked on several Congressional campaigns.

Beverley (she/her) is an Environmental Studies major at Yale-NUS College from Singapore interested in intersectional and decolonial solutions to the climate crisis. She is also a co-founder of GreenCheck, a nonprofit supporting community-led climate action groups from MAPA (most affected peoples and areas) with donations, network creation, and capacity building.

Eness Chisenga graduated from the University of Zambia (UNZA) in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental education and Geography. Current Public Health Candidate. She has work experience in Research, Strategic Planning, Climate Change Awareness and Advocacy, Community mobilisation, Capacity building and development.

Graduate in the Master of Laws in Sustainable Development, Chiara is a young professional in the development sector. During 2020, she worked in Uganda and at the Embassy of Italy in Sudan. Currently, Chiara is working with Emergency Architecture and Human Rights. Soon she will move to Mozambique. Passionate about international politics, human rights and environment protection.

Gwanmesia Chelsea-Debbie is a Human Rights Activist with years of experience working alongside the executive team of a non-governmental organization in Cameroon, Africa. Chelsea specialises In program operations at all levels to enhance sustainable communities. She is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to build team work. She is a holder of a Master's Degree (LLM) in International Law.
